Tax Exemption Program In Store for Sherwood Forests' Twin Oaks

BRIDGETON, NJ - Under a new proposed pilot program being formulated by the City of Bridgeton, properties at Sherwood Forest Homes' Twin Oaks will qualify for a five-year tax exemption. During the first year, properties will be taxed on the land only, not the improvements. In the subsequent four years of the program, a tax based on the assessed value of the home will be levied in 20% increments annually. Land will continue to be assessed throughout the exemption. "This is an excellent program to help encourage new home development in the community of Bridgeton," says Sherwood Forest Homes' Sales Manager Larry J. De Palma of ERA De Palma Realty. "It's a nice incentive for home buyers as well, who can take advantage of considerable tax savings in the first five years of home ownership."

Twin Oaks consists of 57 generously sized homesites ranging from one-quarter to one-half acre in size. Seven distinctively designed three- and four-bedroom homes are showcased here, including both ranch and two-story designs. Vignetted builder's models of the Lauren and Tiffany plans will open in the early part of 2007.
